Locations: Chicago, Lookingglass Theatre, Uncommon Ground
It was perfect that a playwright and a stage manager would marry at the Theatre where they met. The lighting design of Jeff Glass was set on stage for the Lookingglass Theatre’s production of “The Little Prince”. Snow fell during and after the ceremony and made for some lovely photographs and wintry memories for everyone involved. The wedding reception was held at the very cozy Uncommon Ground in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood. Kathleen and Jason sat by a roaring fireplace for dinner.

Kathleen’s Godmother wanted to recreate a wedding photograph of Kathleen’s mother who passed away. It was an emotional moment.

Family!

Family, Friends from Chicago’s theatre scene, and other guests gather in the Lookinglass Theatre’s lobby prior to the ceremony.

Kathleen’s friend Mary is a professional stage manager and helped coordinate much of the day.

The set of “The Little Prince” was an eclectic setting for a ceremony.

K get’s a glimpse of the snow before heading upstairs to the ceremony.

Kathleen’s brother walked her down the aisle.

Proud father of the groom.

A warming of the rings ceremony.

Lighting designer and light wizard Jeff Glass helped me light family formals for some really Theatric and unique photographs of this wedding.
