Locations: Bridges of Poplar Creek, Palatine, St John Church of Christ
Bryan & Jennifer had a winter wedding on a sunny but chilly day in early December. Knowing that they’d be exiting the church near dark, they wanted to have a moment to see one another before the ceremony. A Gazebo out behind Palatine’s Historic St. John United Church of Christ was the perfect place.
Bryan and his attendants got ready at his family’s home and and Jennifer got dressed at the Hyatt Place in nearby Hoffman Estates. Our team split up to cover the preparations at both locations. This is one of the advantages of having two photographer, husband and wife photography team at your wedding.
The reception was celebrated at The Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club in Hoffman Estates, IL. I’ve never seen a wedding cake quite like theirs. It was as if someone had peeled back a white wedding cake to reveal a chocolate cake beneath. It was made by the brilliant folks down at Central Continental bakery in Mt Prospect. One of the photos from their engagement session was printed onto M&Ms. Yes, tiny little printed faces adorned white and red M&Ms. You’ve got to see it.
A big thanks to Dani & Adam *former clients* for letting Jennifer & Bryan know about us.
