Locations: Barrington, Makray Memorial Golf Club, St. Mary's Church
Even though it was a frigid outside Makray was an incredibly cozy setting for a wedding reception. Winter was closing in fast and yet Makray Memorial Golf Club’s iconic ivy covered walls were in peak color. We knew that the exterior walls and surrounding shrubs would make the perfect location for our photoshoot time. Being close to the golf club allowed us to take warming breaks as needed!
With sunset at around 4:30 we suggested that portraits happen before dark. This time of year it’s great if a couple can have a fist look prior to the ceremony. Shaun and Jennifer were excited to have some time together for portraits while the light was great. It also allowed them to enjoy the time after the ceremony as they basked in congratulations and greetings from friends.
