The Morton Arboretum in Lisle, IL isn’t just another wedding venue; it’s a symphony of colors, textures, and wild life. Imagine this: the gentle swooshing of leaves all around, a spectrum of vibrant blooms swaying, and the lively melodies of birds harmonizing with your vows. Too flowery? I’m sorry but Tara and Nate did have a Spring wedding just as the Crab Apple trees were blooming!
What sets The Morton Arboretum apart from some other forest settings in the region is the diversity of well cultivated and thoughtfully landscaped options. From the intimate charm of The Fragrance Garden to to the expansive grander of The Gerard T. Donnelly Grand Garden, each corner of this botanical haven offers its own unique appeal.
Tara & Nate’s Wedding Ceremony was at the recently renovated Grand Garden. See the photos to get a sense of what’s possible.
They shared a first look prior to the ceremony and had wedding party, couple, and family portraits done before the ceremony began. I drove around the entire park to scout for locations prior to starting my coverage with them. I wanted to to see the up-to-minute blooms and blossoms.
The Morton Arboretum contains more than 4 venues for your wedding reception and numerous options for ceremonies as well. This reception was held in The Ginko Room with signature floor to ceiling windows overlooking a pond.
